Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Penerimaan Raw Material untuk Operasional Pabrik PT Batang Hari Barisan

To improve the competitiveness of companies in the increasingly competitive technological era, efficiency and accuracy in business processes are very important factors. PT. Batang Hari Barisan as a company engaged in the industrial sector requires an integrated information system to support the management of raw material receipts more effectively. This study aims to design and build a raw material receipt information system at PT. Batang Hari Barisan using the Waterfall method as a software development approach and Unified Modeling Language (UML) as a system design tool. Through the implementation of this system, the company is expected to be able to minimize errors that often occur in manual processes, accelerate workflows, and improve control and data accuracy in the raw material receipt process. In addition to providing practical benefits for the company, this study also contributes to the development of information systems based on the Waterfall method and UML which are proven to be relevant and useful in software projects in the industrial sector.
