In General Elections or which are abbreviated as Elections, there are things that must be considered so that they run well and smoothly, such as Updating Permanent Voter Data.Updating voter data is an activity to update voter data based on DP4 and based on the voter list from the last election or election by means of factual verification with voter data and then usedas material for preparing the Provisional Voter List which is carried out by the Pesisir Selatan Regency KPU with the assistance of the District Election Committee. and the Voting Committee.The formulation of the research problem is: evaluation of the performance of the Pesisir Selatan district general election commission in updating permanent voter data after the 2019 elections.The inhibiting factor in updating voter data remains at the general election commissionPesisir Selatandistrict.Forms of preparation for elections in 2024 in Pesisir Selatan District.The research method used is descriptive qualitative.The results of the evaluation of the performance of the Pesisir Selatan district general election commission in updating final voter data after the 2019 election were good, the community had played an active role in the election process and there were only a few problems that occurred during the 2019 election, such as the problems in the permanent voter data.Suggestions are that it is hoped that the KPU can minimize the problems that occur in the data collection process and the implementation of elections and the public continues to participate so that they are more active in facing the next election in the hope that no more problems will occur
